RA Sushi Raises the Bar with New Beverage Program
Revamped Menu Features Premium Cocktails, Craft Beer, and New Wine Selections
Known for its inventive signature cocktails, Japanese beer selection, wide variety of sake and “RA”ckin’ sake bombs, RA Sushi Bar Restaurant has taken its beverage program to a whole new level with a completely revamped drinks menu. All 25 RA Sushi locations nationwide recently launched an enhanced menu that includes RA Sushi’s signature libations made with premium spirits, fresh fruit juices and all natural mixers, plus new craft beers, upgraded wine selections, and a greater offering of cocktails, bombers, bomb shots and frozen drinks.
To celebrate the new beverage menu, all RA Sushi locations in Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Maryland, Nevada, and Texas will be offering $6 Moshi Mojitos from open to close from September 1-30. Available in traditional, mango or strawberry flavors, the Moshi Mojito features Bacardi Light rum muddled with fresh lime, mint, sugar, and soda.
“RA Sushi is continually finding new ways to keep our menus fresh and exciting, while still offering an outstanding value. By adding high-quality, premium drinks without increasing the prices, our guests now have more choices to enhance their dining experience,” said RA Sushi’s Beverage Director, Alex Summer.
RA Sushi’s entire specialty cocktail menu has been upgraded. Popular drinks like the Blushing Geisha, Dragon Bite and Emperor’s Margarita have received the star treatment with premium spirits and fresh fruit juice mixers. The Blushing Geisha is a mix of Skyy Raspberry vodka, Chambord, cold lemonade, fresh lemon sour and a splash of soda. The Dragon Bite features Bacardi Dragonberry, strawberry puree, fresh lemon juice, Japanese yuzu, and a splash of soda. RA Sushi’s premium margarita, the Emperor’s Margarita is made with top shelf Patrón Silver, Cointreau, fresh lime juice, Japanese yuzu and agave nectar, and it can be ordered as traditional or flavored with mango, cucumber or strawberry. While the quality of each drink has been improved, RA Sushi has kept its prices the same offering guests a wide variety of signature cocktail choices for less than $10.
The perfect refresher on a hot summer day, RA Sushi has added new and enhanced creative frozen concoctions to the menu. Choose from a monthly rotating selection of four cocktails. A boozy, berry blast, the Berries N’ Cream is a blend of Skyy Raspberry and Pinnacle Whipped vodkas and all-natural berry flavors. RA Sushi’s take on a piña colada, the Coco Loco features Skyy Pineapple and Coconut vodkas, smooth and creamy coconut colada and pineapple juice; choose from traditional, mango or strawberry flavors. Like an adult slushy, the refreshingly tart Frozen Cherry Limeade is a combination of Three Olives Cherry vodka and fresh lime juice. For a classic frozen drink, order the RA Frozen Margarita made with Sauza 100% Blue Agave tequila and house made sour mix (available in traditional, mango or strawberry). RA Sushi’s signature daily featured cocktail, the Fuzzy Momo Bellini is a blend of sparkling and white wines, Bacardi Rum, yuzu, peach and strawberry puree.
Wine lovers will enjoy the addition of new selections that pair perfectly with sushi and Japanese cuisine. A sampling of the new wines includes Saldo Zinfandel Blend, SA Prum Essence Riesling, Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc, Belle Glos “Meiomi” Pinot Noir, Spellbound Petite Sirah, Robert Mondavi Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, La Crema Chardonnay, and Stag’s Leap Karia Chardonnay.
To offer guests the ultimate beer-drinking experience, RA Sushi extended its beverage menu to include a selection of craft beers. A sampling of these selections includes Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider, Lindemans Framboise, and Unibroue La Fin Du Monde. RA Sushi has even purchased new glassware for craft beers to better showcase the aromatic flavors.
Taking RA Sushi’s popular beer and sake bombers to the next level, the restaurant has added an explosive new selection of Bombs and Bombers, pairing a large beer with a unique or flavored sake or premium spirit. The new menu offers eight Traditional Bombers, five signature RA Bombers and five Bomb Shots. Examples of the new bombers include the Pure-fect Bomb, with Kirin/Kirin Light and a carafe of Kizakura Pure sparkling sake. For something sweet, try the Fuji Bomb, a pairing of Kirin/Kirin Light and a carafe of apple-flavored sake. Additionally, RA Sushi has added an assortment of fun Bomb Shots to the menu. Unique choices include the Bombpop a red, white and blue-layered creation of Three Olives Cherry vodka, Blue Curacao and grenadine dropped into Smirnoff Ice. To heat things up, order the Fire Bomb, a shot of Fireball Cinnamon Whisky served with a bottle of Angry Orchard Crisp Apple Cider.
