A New Design In Food Etiquette

Pavilion is the latest launch from the Elysium empire, taking over the River Lodge at Middleborough, and breathing in a new lease of verve with a £3.6m renovation. Spread over 14,000-sq. ft. this Grade II listed building has parts of its structure dating back to 1780, the venue design has been sympathetically developed in keeping with the history of the building, with captivating materials and textures of a picturesque river setting and natural world, by centring on reclaimed wood, natural rock-face walls, earthy tones and natural light. The river terrace centers around a 60-year-old Pride of India tree while the restaurant and bar styling, overflows with a botanical flourish of lush greenery.

Pavilion recently launched to fanfare attention and a joyous response, it will cement itself as an all day and night destination from breakfasts, business lunches and afternoon teas to event celebrations, from Saki to Martini along with live entertainment. It is a truly luxurious and accessible setting for families, meetings, celebrations along with friendly encounters, Pavilion with its boutique and fine dining offerings is here to deliver a truly immersive experience.

The pan-pacific menu from the open kitchen will feature fresh seafood, a raw bar of oysters, ceviche and sashimi and a Japanese robatayaki charcoal grill.

Pavilion Deli Bar

Located in a prime location the space will have the ability to service up to 300 covers in the restaurant and bar lounge, with a private first floor dining room and private function room for hire, with chic features such as heated pavilion-covered courtyard and water terrace overlooking the rich history of the river Colne.

The result is a melee of fresh, colourful and complex dishes ideal for small plate sharing or simply to devour alone, for that ultimate vibrant and pulsating dining experience, sensitively supported with eloquent fusions of flavour in the shape of signature cocktails such as the Lada Collins (Twist of Pisco, Aperol, Red Grapes, Ginger Ale) or for the more adventurous Origami “Red Saké”, Yushin Brewery – Kagawa Prefecture provided by our elite aficionado bar staff.

Whilst not just extending itself to this audacious menu, as you step, into its interior you will be awakened by this unique location that has been attentively restored, preserved, conserved and extended into a space that’s filled with gracious elegance and natural beauty.

The mission was simple, to serve delectable food and beverages within vibrant convivial and inspiring surroundings.
