To start, Mairi provides a brief overview of the firm and offers more insight into its clientele. “At Yatta Brands, our goal is simple, to provide luxury beauty products and jewellery consumers can feel good about and to educate people about why it is important to switch to brands that are free from chemicals. Partnering with ethically led businesses, these all share our passion for sustainable products of the highest quality. Many of our products come from around the world and are all professionally made in certified laboratories or factories that adhere to the neutral carbon foot print and fair wages. “As for our clients, they are educated people who want to move away from brands like Chanel, YSL and Estee Lauder, but still want pure luxury. In the North American market, many of our clients will drive for hours just so they can shop in our 2000 square foot store. Additionally, we offer private shopping events where a small group of people can shop uninterrupted for two hours and relax in our lounge drinking tea’s or coffee’s and nibbling on vegan finger food. The sales team know each of the products in-depth and have tried everyone. Here at Yatta, working with people whose voice and opinion matters is paramount to our success. As a small company, we depend on everyone to work together as a team.” Remaining ahead of emerging developments in the health and beauty industry can significantly aid some of the services Yatta. “As a company, we are always on the lookout for the next sustainable manufacturing tools” Mairi highlights. “The team are incredible at staying in the loop with new developments, whether it is biodegradable labels or plant- based wraps breaking down in a matter of a month, we are constantly checking to see what we can incorporate into our supply chain. As a huge upcycling company, we can merge sustainable with luxury and bring this to our customers.” Looking ahead to what the future holds for the firm, Mairi reveals some of the exciting plans in the pipeline for the team at Yatta as we look ahead to 2021 and beyond. “The future of Yatta is big and we believe we will be a global leader of excellence in our field. Moving forward, we will continue to partner with liked-minded companies and competitors to help spread the word and shake up the industry to move away from toxic chemicals.
