We are results driven and our niche is delivering to customer expectations.” As with many industries, Covid-19 presented some real challenges for the business, however Susan and the team were not only resilient in their fight to remain successful, but also proactive and resourceful. “Throughout the first lockdown, as businesses had to close, we started to share information about skincare regimes and products, as well as how to do a ‘home spa’. This included daily beauty tips going out on Facebook to reach all of our clients. We also set up a home delivery service for our retail products to help clients with their beauty regimes and so that they could still get hold of their favourite items.” Once the salon was allowed to reopen and carry out facials and treatments once again, clients came back in droves to book themselves in for treatments. “We saw a lot of people who had spent the last few months at computer screens working from home really feeling the need to look good,” says Susan. “Many clients had also experienced back pain due to poor posture being sat at their computers all day long. Our facial and massage business started to boom and our diaries are becoming full to capacity once again.” Regarding the future, Susan believes that this is just the start of The Ultimate Secret’s journey to success.
