Julia’s response during the pandemic has been an incredible show of both hard work and empathic service. During the course of the outbreak, Julia’s had to undergo the regular shutdowns and temporary closures that afflicted every hospitality institution. Julia’s kept working hard to find new ways to serve the local community and better ways to help. Julia’s began a delivery service, and partnered with High Road Kitchens to donate free meals to essential service providers and community members in need, making itself a cornerstone of the fight against the virus by keeping the people on the front lines well fed. Since May 2020, Julia’s has donated over 1500 meals to afflicted community members and those helping them. To this day, Julia’s continues to serve the entirety of Monterey County in order to donate meals to CHOMP, Westland House, iHelp Women’s and Men’s Shelters, and Trader Joes.
