Justin is happy to share this knowledge with us and explore how his firm is helping to support both clients and candidates alike and ensure that their needs are met in this ever evolving market. “With the high demand for vets and vet nurses in the UK, we are finding that more and more people are coming to the UK for work and we are very keen to help these candidates to obtain ‘registered status’ on the RCVS register (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons). We have already assisted many people to come across to the UK and have helped them to pass their OSCE exams. We feel that our knowledge and help with this, sets us apart from some of our rival companies.” In his concluding comments, Justin provides us with a fascinating insight into JHP Recruitment’s expansion plans, and how it will be working to build upon its current success whilst at the same time remain dedicated to offering clients the exceptional level of service and support that they have come to rely upon. “Looking ahead, we are moving into a new, larger office later this year, which is double the size of our current office and have recently advertising for two new Consultants to join the team. We have had many applications for the roles and are currently in the process of setting up interviews. We are very lucky that we are well known and have had consultants recommended to us from friends and colleagues too. It is our belief that our consultants must be passionate about what we do and the industry that we work in as we do encourage them to go and visit our clients and spend time in veterinary hospitals. As part of our drive for expansion, we have recently engaged with new clients that require veterinary professionals for non-clinical roles and we do plan on expanding this side of the business over the next 12 months or so. We are also looking to add 2-5 more consultants within the ‘clinical team’ to try and cement our place as one of the UK’s best ‘Veterinary Recruitment Agencies’. “Longer term, over the next year we plan on expanding our client base from overseas and hope to attend the ‘New York Vet Show’ in November 2018 as we would like to start working the United States. These exciting developments offer us many great opportunities to flourish and we look forward to taking advantage of these over the coming months.”
