The Hall’s fine dining A La Carte experience is set in its grand Rosette-awarded Ballroom restaurant, which provides the perfect meal to bring a day to an end, complete with Grade II listed William Morris wallpaper. Each overnight spa experience includes breakfast, a three-course lunch and a three-course dinner in the Ballroom, ensuring guests experience the utmost relaxation throughout their day knowing they have a delicious meal waiting for them in the evening or upon arrival. Hoar Cross Hall also features a daytime Bistro, Henry’s, which offers an alternative dining option for all guests. Serving sandwiches, salad bowls, stone baked pizzas, and sweet treats, there are plenty of options to tickle anyone’s tastebuds. Also open during the day is Hugo’s, the Hall’s spa restaurant, which is the perfect location for spa guests to stop for a midday boost. All Hoar Cross Hall’s restaurants are managed by Executive Head Chef, James St ClaireJones, who has mastered the art of crafting seasonal dishes with a unique contemporary twist. James is highly experienced in his field, having spent 32 years working in all aspects of the hospitality industry as well as in food demonstration and development. In 2013, he competed in MasterChef: The Professionals, and has more recently received Gold Best in Class for the Culinary Plant Forward Challenge. Furthermore, the Hall’s Senior Sous Chef, Alex, has recently won the International Culinaire Plant Base Championship 2023. As part of this, Alex designed a new dish which will soon feature on the Hall’s menus. As a result of the superior customer experience it provides across all its restaurants, Barons Eden at Hoar Cross Hall has won Best Contemporary Fine Dining Experience, Staffordshire, in the Restaurant and Bar Awards 2023. Moving forwards, the Hall is in the process of taking action to reduce its impact on the environment.
