Liam has won many awards including the Italian ‘Iconic Landscape’ award in 2022 for his Normandy memorial, The Henry Hering Medal for Art and Architecture in the USA and the International Property Awards Global Award for the monument in 2022. A member of the International Network for Traditional Building, Architecture and Urbanism (INTBAU), Liam is part of a group of over 8,000 members, all working to create better places to live. The network, founded by the former Prince of Wales, stretches across 100 countries worldwide. INTBAU’s vision is that every building and outdoor space is created with a conscience. Drawing from and developing traditional knowledge and techniques, the organisation strives to uphold everyone’s right to a place to live that is resilient, adaptable, beautiful, and supportive of local identity.
