One of the largest challenges the company has faced is, undoubtedly, the Covid-19 pandemic that saturated the globe in early 2020 and brought the travel and hospitality industry to its knees. Trey explains that the Canadian border being closed reduced the projected number of visitors by 30%, and the team is waiting with bated breath for these borders to re-open in Autumn and business to return to normal. However challenging, the Resort at Canopy Oaks has been taking hundreds of reservations per week, and continues to see it’s occupancy levels strongly maintained.
