LUXLIFE MAGAZINE | 45 Xmas 2018 successful project in our minds, rather, each project has been successful in that it has taught us and allowed us to refine our skills, techniques, and design approaches in order to better our future projects. Each project we have had the privilege to work on has reinforced that great design should never be based on a fad or dated to a particular period, and rather should withstand trends and time.” Bringing the interview to a close , Paul envisions what the future has in store for the industry, as well as reflecting on how he sees the market changing over the next 12 months. “Moving forward, we are excited to see the resurgence of food production and the garden, and the organic approaches/ techniques being employed to cultivate and harvest food. Also, we see the evolution of sustainable design within the industry being characterised by longevity and projects that have life expectancy. It’s about high quality, thoughtful materiality and design.” Looking ahead to what the future holds, Paul signs off by revealing what plans lie in store for the award-winning landscape design firm. “The journey thus far has been spectacular. When we think that we have seen it all we are brought into realms we could have never expected. Our future is not one of looking at a destination but learning to embrace the present to its fullest. “Overall, we love what we do. We are so grateful that people are so excited to have us involved on their projects, and to be working with teams where collaboration is embraced and delivers results beyond everyone’s expectations.” Company: Paul Sangha Landscape Architecture Address: 125 East 4th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 1G4 Telephone: 604 736 2323 Website: www.paulsangha.com Photographer credit: Nic Lehoux Photographer credit: Ed White Photographer credit: Brett Hitchins
