Backcountry Brewing

Backcountry Brewing was formed by a team of owner/operators each with a unique skill including head brewer John Folinsbee, Sales manager Marc Roberts, Marketing Manager Ben Reeder. This collaborative team spirit continues to guide and shape our company and also earned us the title of “best rookie brewery” at the BC Beer Awards in 2017 along with awards for all 3 of our core beers. With a focus on brewing hoppy ales using new hop varietals, our brewers are constantly experimenting with innovative ingredients and techniques. The brewery is situated in Squamish BC and is complete with a 50 seat tasting room, growler fill, retail area and kitchen run by head Chef Artie McGee.
