Bali Animal Welfare Association

BAWA is a non-profit organisation based in Bali, Indonesia, that works to save, protect, and improve the lives of the animals in Bali and beyond. BAWA's core programs are designed to help the community to tackle animal welfare issues from all angles. A 24-hour emergency response team and animal ambulance, humane population control and disease control, school education teams teaching over 100,000 children each year about dog welfare, and advocacy programs to educate, negotiate, and solve issues of animal abuse and neglect in the community, and lobby for changes to local and national laws on animal welfare and protections.
