Craft Distillery of the Year 2019 - France & Best Armagnac 2019: Baron de Sigognac 10 Ans d’Âge Excellence. Bordeneuve Châteaux & Collections is a family owned and run craft distillery which attaches the highest importance to the quality of its Armagnacs and the satisfaction of its partners. Château de Bordeneuve is proud to dedicate its entire production of traditional grape varieties (Ugni Blanc and Baco), to the distillation of Bas-Armagnac. The 42 hectare property has vineyards producing 3000+ hectolitres of juice for distillation. The grapes are distilled using their own ancient copper still on the estate. The young Armagnac is then stored and aged in hand-made French oak barrels in medieval ageing cellars on the property.
