Most Romantic B&B 2018 - Cumbria Brownber Hall is a modern take on the quintessential British country home with a chic, young twist - the perfect place for scenic walks, romantic breaks, outdoor adventures and picturesque views. The Grade II listed house has been lovingly restored and transformed into a chic country bolthole by young entrepreneur Peter & Amanda Jaques-Walker. The Victorian building dates from 1860 and retains many period features including fireplaces with ceramic tiles, stained-glass windows and stunning original William Morris wallpaper. Combined with contemporary art, retro velvet sofas to sink into with a drink from the honesty bar and freshly made pizza’s – this is one romantic guesthouse.
