Radisson Hotel Group Partners With Nutritionist To Inspire Guests At Breakfast Working with Sophie Bertrand, accredited nutritionist and founder of Sophie’s Healthy Kitchen, Radisson Hotel Group hopes to further educate guests on the nutritional value of the breakfast food items available at its hotels and inspire them to create a breakfast that suits their day. From mid-September, a range of different breakfast plate ideas will be on display across Radisson Hotel Group properties in the UK to excite and further educate guests on the nutritional value of food items and the type of breakfast to best suit their day ahead. Radisson Hotel Group’s collaboration with Sophie successfully combines its diverse variety of breakfast offerings with Sophie’s passion for creating enjoyable and nutritional dishes. Sophie is a Registered Associate Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and has a BSc degree in Psychology and an MSc in Nutrition and Eating Disorders. Her background has shaped her interest in the balance between health and food enjoyment. Sophie said: “I’m really excited to work with Radisson Hotel Group on this fresh new breakfast campaign. It is not just about the nutritional value that each item of food holds, it’s about the enjoyment people get whilst eating it. We want guests to enjoy the wide variety of options available during their stay with Radisson Hotel Group and offer ideas of different dishes they can create to set them up for the day ahead.” Breakfast ideas include: The Endurance Breakfast, The ‘I Don’t Really Do’ Breakfast, The Long Haul Breakfast, The Sweet Tooth Breakfast, The Nourishing Breakfast, The On-The-Go Breakfast. and The Recovery Breakfast. Additionally, The Especially For You Breakfast encourages guests to order from the A La Carte menu at no additional cost, which offers an even wider range of options and includes vegan dishes. Guests are also invited to ask for what they fancy if they don’t see it on the menu and if it’s in the kitchen, the chef will happily prepare it. Here is a selection of Radisson Hotel Group’s new breakfast ideas: The Endurance Breakfast The Endurance Breakfast is power- packed and long-lasting for those running a marathon or running a board meeting. It includes thickly-sliced toast with bacon, mushrooms, roast tomatoes and a boiled egg, accompanied by porridge topped with berry compote, seeds, and mixed fresh fruit. This breakfast is ideal for guests that want to feel satisfied and full for longer as oats provide slow-releasing energy, and by adding fruit and seeds guests will increase their protein and fibre intake. The Sweet Tooth Breakfast The Sweet Tooth Breakfast is perfect if you enjoy something sweet to start the day. It is made up of a stack of fluffy pancakes from the A La Carte menu topped with berry compote and honey or chocolate spread. This option offers a good source of carbohydrates, providing fast-releasing energy to give guests a boost, as well as natural antioxidants with fruit. The Long Haul Breakfast The Long Haul Breakfast is great for guests who are about to face a long day of travelling or are embarking on a new adventure. This dish is composed of smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast topped with chives and Greek yogurt, complemented with a refreshing fruit and oat smoothie. Salmon and eggs are an excellent way to receive essential vitamins that are key to the diet, while wholemeal toast and oats will ensure guests are benefitting from slow-releasing energy. Sophie added: “Not many people have a fridge stocked with as many breakfast ingredients as there are available at Radisson Hotel Group properties. The campaign is a great way to educate guests about breakfast, nutrition and enjoying food. I look forward to supporting Radisson Hotel Group with this activity as it continues.”
