Satinder discusses the shop’s commitment to excellence in detail and highlights how it works hard to give back to both its customers and the wider community. “Here at J’s Grill we have an honest and transparent approach to everything, the kitchen is open plan, so our customers can see their food being prepared from start to finish. We only buy the best produce and it is all locally sourced, because we know that it is important that we support other local businesses too. We spent one year prior to opening trialling, testing and tasting every suppliers’ materials to ensure we serve only the best to our customers. We are always looking at new ideas and the best ones come from our community, we work together. “Alongside serving our customers with the best possible dishes, we also want to be part of the community and work with the community to ensure we are providing support where we can. During public holidays such as Easter we give away Easter eggs, keeping our customers smiling and happy always. We also prepare fresh food for the homeless shelters and provide funding to local projects and charities. It is important to be socially aware and have a presence in the community and we feel that we achieve this.” Looking ahead, Satinder foresees even greater success for J’s Grill as the takeaway seeks to grow even further and support a wider range of customers and provide them with the same award-winning dishes that have driven the establishment to its current success. We are looking at ways to enhance our offering so that we can become more environmentally friendly, and as such we are looking at ways where we can do our bit to protect the environment as much as possible and reduce our carbon footprint. “Longer term, we are excited to say that we will be looking at locations for our second premises shortly. This is very exciting for us but it is also important that we choose the right location because we want to support our community and other local businesses.
