Charlotte Karbaron, General Manager, shares, “We also offer a service called The Listening Room, which is a safe space for clients to talk to a member of our wellness team about issues they may be experiencing. We operate a nonjudgmental service where clients are free to be open and explore their thoughts and feelings. Talking through issues that are weighing us down, no matter how seemly small, can open us up to new experiences and opportunities, and there are plenty of those to enjoy at Glass House Retreat.” At Glass House, its hardworking team is dedicated to exceeding guests’ expectations and going above and beyond in their service. Communication is a key element of the business, and Charlotte ensures that all staff are aware of the retreat's purpose to support guests on their personal wellness journey and create lasting memories. Glass House is highly skilled at tailoring its approach to every individual, whether that be through its classes, treatments, or dietary requirements. Guests reside at the heart of the business and the team is passionate about making a meaningful impact on the lives of their clients. Charlotte says, “My advice to businesses is that they must be adaptable to change. When dealing with guests’ requests, you must be able to think on your feet. Another piece of advice is to be genuinely interested in working in the hospitality industry. For example, if a guest is not greeted with a warm welcome as first point of contact, this might cause an unhappy snowball effect for the rest of their stay. What sets us apart is certainly the relationship with the team members. In our induction process, all team members are scheduled to spend time in each department and receive an individual training plan delivered over a two-week period.” Most recently, Glass House is exploring the concept of bespoke menopause retreats. Menopause can be an overwhelming period of a woman’s life and by curating a program of alternative therapies, the retreat can help guests through these physical and emotional changes. With many treatments and therapies now available, Glass House looks forward to being a part of this movement over the coming year. Glass House is a luxurious detox and wellness retreat that strives to help guests incorporate self-care into their lives. Inside its beautiful facility, visitors can leave behind the stresses of daily life and embrace relaxation in a rejuvenating environment.
