The Russian art jeweller has created a gorgeous collection of sumptuous jewels based on the timeless Fabergé eggs. Maxim is showcasing his new collection in collaboration with Bentley & Skinner owing to the jeweller’s ‘enchanting atmosphere’.

The jewellers, established in 1880 and specialising in antique and period jewellery, specifically Fabergé , will host the ‘Magical Cabinet of Vivid Treasures’ at their store from 17th June until 23nd June 2015. They are jewellers by Royal Appointment to Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and have provided Royal jewels since the reign of Queen Victoria.

Mark Evans, Managing Director of Bentley & Skinner, declared: ‘The jewellery of Maxim is not just a creation, but rather the vision of a man seeking beauty in life. Each of his individual jewels is a work of art in its own right.’

Voznesenskiy, in addition to being a highly respected artist and jewellery creator is also as a philosopher, a discerning collector and creator of outstanding art projects. The London based artist and jeweller is a huge admirer of the work of Fabergé, creating his first piece inspired by the eggs over twenty years ago. He created a stunning pearl “egg” pendant which was presented to Queen Letizia of Spain as a wedding gift. In addition to Fabergé, Voznesenskiy is also an admirer of many bastions of Russian art such as Diaghilev, Kandinsky and Malevich.

Voznesenskiy’s works are timeless, exquisite individual pieces designed to be passed through the generations. The jewels represent more than something to be worn: they are something to be cherished and remembered.
